9 Years… We Shall Never Forget

Saturday, September 11th, 2010

Nine years have already passed since the terrifying incident of 9/11. And the construction at Ground Zero has begun. Upon completion, the One World Trade Center will be the tallest building in the States at 1,776 feet, with 105 floors. They are trying to speed up the process and are currently working on the 36th floor.

New York authorities have stated that the two giant waterfalls will be completed in time for the 10th anniversary.

One World Trade Center is estimated to be completed in April of 2013.

After the public rejected the first proposals, Daniel Libeskind’s design was selected in the second competition. It went through many revisions and was shown to the public in 2006.
